Privacy policy
This page describes the personal data this site may process, why, for how long, who receives it and how to exercise your rights. It supplements the legal notice, which identifies the publisher and the host and is not repeated here.
This is an English translation, provided for convenience. The binding version is the French one — Politique de confidentialité — and in case of any discrepancy between the two, the French text prevails.
Where this site stands today
The audience measurement described below has been in service since 26 October
2026. It runs only after you agree: until you click “Allow”, the
_ga cookie is not set and no request is made to Google.
This site has no forms. To write to us you use your own email client: we receive only what you choose to send us.
Data controller
Riloq — Maxime Mondini, sole trader. Full contact details, registration and the host are given in the legal notice.
Contact for any question about personal data: contact@riloq.fr.
Riloq is a one-person business and has not appointed a data protection officer; the law does not require it to. Your requests are handled directly by Maxime Mondini.
Audience measurement — only if you agree to it
To know which pages are read and where visitors come from, this site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager. These tools load only after an affirmative click on “Allow” in the banner. Until you have agreed — including if you simply ignore the banner — no request is made to Google and no measurement takes place.
What is collected if you agree
- your IP address, used to determine an approximate location and then truncated by Google;
- technical information about your device and browser (device type, system, language, screen size);
- the pages you view on this site, and the page or search engine you came from;
- clicks on outbound links, which includes a click on the email address published on this site.
Google Analytics' automatic event detection is enabled: scrolls, outbound clicks, file downloads, video engagement, form interactions and page changes without a reload. On this site, which has no forms, no video, no downloadable files and no internal search, only scrolls, outbound clicks and page views actually produce an event. If any of the other signals ever became relevant, this page would be updated at the same time.
This measurement serves only to understand how the site is visited. It is used neither for advertising, nor for profiling, nor for personalisation: Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled, and no data is sold.
Cookies and data stored in your browser
_gaand a_ga_cookie followed by the data stream identifier: set by Google Analytics after you agree. They hold a random identifier that allows a browser to be recognised from one visit to the next, so that the same person is not counted twice.riloq.consent: the record of your choice, stored by this site itself in your browser's local storage. It holds only the value “accepted” or “declined”, no identifier, and is sent to no one. It exists so that the banner does not ask you again on every page.
Lawful basis
Audience measurement rests on your consent — art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the processing, and art. 82 of French Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 for setting the cookies. That consent is prior, freely given and explicit: nothing is ticked in advance, declining takes exactly the same effort as accepting, and declining restricts nothing on the site. You may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it.
Recording your choice does not rest on consent, and that is deliberately
a separate paragraph. Keeping riloq.consent is strictly necessary to honour
the decision you have just taken: without that record, the site could not remember a
refusal. It is therefore not subject to consent and does not appear in the banner.
Retention
- Event data (audience measurement): 2 months. This is the retention setting of the Google Analytics property; beyond it, the detailed data is deleted by Google.
- Data associated with a user identifier: 14 months, that period being reset each time you visit again (the “reset on new activity” option is on).
_gacookies: up to 13 months from when they are set or last updated, in line with the CNIL's recommendation.- The record of your choice (
riloq.consent): until you change it, or clear your browser's site data. It stays on your device and is not retained by us.
Recipients and processor
Measurement data is processed by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC, as processor, under Google's data processing terms. No other company receives this data. The site embeds no other measurement tool, no social network, no advertising and no chat service.
Google Search Console
This site is registered with Google Search Console, which tells us which searches the site appears for in Google and how often it is shown or clicked. Those statistics come from Google and are aggregated: they cannot identify you. Search Console stores nothing in your browser and collects nothing from this site; ownership is verified by a DNS record on the domain, not by a script added to the pages.
The footer contains links to Riloq's LinkedIn and Instagram accounts: these are plain links, not embedded widgets. Nothing is loaded from those sites and no information is sent to them unless you click.
The site's host, Cloudflare, technically processes the requests that reach it; its identity is given in the legal notice.
Transfer outside the European Union
If you accept audience measurement, the data concerned is transferred to the United States, where Google LLC is established. That transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Google LLC being certified under that framework.
That adequacy decision is the subject of proceedings before the courts of the Union. Were it annulled, audience measurement would be suspended and this page amended accordingly.
Your rights
In respect of data concerning you, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise them, write to contact@riloq.fr. You will receive a reply within one month. Please be specific: audience measurement data contains neither your name nor your email address, so it may be necessary to ask you for your browser identifier in order to find what concerns you — failing which we cannot connect that data to you.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
The “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page on this site reopens the banner and lets you change your mind either way, at any time. A withdrawal takes effect immediately: the page is reloaded in the “declined” state.
You can also delete the cookies and site data stored by this site at any time from your browser settings. The banner will then ask you again on your next visit.
Changes to this page
If what this site collects changes — a tool added, a signal enabled, a retention period altered — this page is updated at the same time. A privacy policy that no longer describes the reality of the site is worse than none at all.
